Now that 2016 is in the books and we crack the seal on a fresh new year, it is only natural to look back and make some assessments.  It is with this reflection in mind that I set out to review the thousands of images taken in 2016 and select my 16 favorites.  The criteria for selection is not necessarily an image’s technical accuracy or its popularity with viewers of this site.  It just has to be one of my personal favorites.  Since a photograph records but a moment in time, you could say that these are my 16 favorites moments in Vermont for 2016.

These photos, whether they be color, black & white or infrared represent all four seasons spanning the four corners of the State.  Below is my selections, I hope you enjoy them.

Now that 2015 is long in the rear view mirror, I am finally getting to take a good look at some of my Vermont photos taken in 2015.  My job is to find my 15 favorites.  I am not saying that these photos are my 15 best or even if they are good photos at, just that they are my favorites.  Their is no set criteria for landing in this list of 15, it could be the composition or the subject or many just my pleasant memory of that particular morning or location.  With that brief description, here are my favorites (in no particular order)
