Now that 2016 is in the books and we crack the seal on a fresh new year, it is only natural to look back and make some assessments. It is with this reflection in mind that I set out to review the thousands of images taken in 2016 and select my 16 favorites. The criteria for selection is not necessarily an image’s technical accuracy or its popularity with viewers of this site. It just has to be one of my personal favorites. Since a photograph records but a moment in time, you could say that these are my 16 favorites moments in Vermont for 2016.
These photos, whether they be color, black & white or infrared represent all four seasons spanning the four corners of the State. Below is my selections, I hope you enjoy them.
